Today's Jobs status

What is the point of getting a degree from college if no one will hire you because of it? Why would you interview someone knowing that they are already over qualified for the job? However why would you want to hire someone that you would have to spend more money on and more time training? It seems unfair that I would have to dumb down my resume just to get any type of job to stay a float. Is this really fair?

  1. girl, I have had to dumb down my resume too many times to care. It isn't so much the hiring as the person interviewing you. The interviewers may have personal reasons - you are already way ahead and look better then them on paper, so they are hating. The company wanted you - hence the interview, yet they are putting the interviews in the hands of the wrong people. Dumb it down, get in the door and then take it over!!
